Mevagissey is a charming village and old fishing port that’s quintessentially Cornish. Its name is derived from the names of two saints, St Meva and St Issey. Here, you’ll find many old buildings constructed of cob and slate, which testify to a time when the large shoals of pilchards helped villagers earn a living.

We are not only close to leading attractions but a spectacular coastline ready to explore, with numerous coves and sandy beaches, including Vault Beach and the majestic headland of Dodman Point. Since many of the local beaches have interesting rock formations, they are popular with fossil hunters.

All our pitches are divided by hedging or shrubs to offer you an individual, secluded camping experience. You can also bring all your furry friend, providing they play by the rules!
