Pet ownership rose sharply during the Covid-19 pandemic and few of us want to leave our dog behind when we go on holiday. That’s especially true when you go somewhere like Cornwall, where there’s so much to do and share with your pooch!
Fortunately, our campsite in Cornwall is pet-friendly and welcomes dogs, providing that they adhere to the camp rules!
We accept up to two dogs per pitch, although they aren’t allowed into certain areas, such as swimming pool, shop and cafe complex. They also mustn’t be left unattended at any time. There are many great places near our campsite to take your dog, which they’ll enjoy just as much as you do.
That includes a number of dog-friendly beaches where your four-legged friend will love chasing the waves and letting off steam. Beaches near to our campsite in Cornwall include Porthluney Cove which welcomes dogs all year round, although visitors need to keep their dogs on leads from June to September.
We are also close to Vault Beach which also allows dogs and is only 2.5 miles from our location. This secluded, well sheltered beach has breathtaking views from above.
