From chasing waves on the beach, to accompanying you on coastal walks, most dogs love Cornwall as much as we do. They’re guaranteed to appreciate it if they’re brought along on your next holiday.
Leaving your dog behind can be extremely painful for both them and you. After all, they’re a member of your family. Fortunately, there’s more pet-friendly places than ever in the county. There are several websites which can provide information on the best places to take your dog in and around Gorran Haven, Mevagissey and elsewhere surrounding our campsite.
Thanks to a rise in dog ownership, there’s many more cafes and pubs in Cornwall that welcome dogs.
When bringing a dog to our campsite, it’s vital to ensure they abide by the rules, including keeping them on a short leash when in the park itself. We allow up to two dogs for each pitch, and are surrounded by beautiful countryside that’s ideal for walking your pooch.
Tregarton Park also has a dog patio near to our swimming pool complex, with a large parasol to offer some shade on sunny days. We also have a dog exercise field where they can easily let off steam. However, there are a number of places at our campsite where dogs are not allowed.
