We would like to in form you of a change to the booking conditions for holidays arriving 21st May until 29th May)

Your balance was due 28 days before your arrival 

Your balance is now payable on arrival

By making this change we can extend the period of time to continue to review the current situation we are all facing.  We will, of course, be back in contact with you in a few weeks to update you further.

Coronavirus, COVID 19 – 2021 Bookings Update


1st April

We are postponing the option to book new 2021 bookings. As you may know we usually allow you to place next year’s booking from today – 1st April. This will be delayed until we open for the season in 2020.

We need to hold back next year’s allocation while we work through the many booking amendments we are dealing with at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Coronavirus, COVID 19 – Guest Arriving up to 20th May

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected us all, and it will continue for some time to come. In line with the UK government’s latest advice we are postponing the opening of the park until 20th May, subject to review.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation and patience at this uncertain time and hope you understand why we have undertaken this action.  We are a small family run business, and we very much encourage you to re-book your holiday at a later date.

Any monies you have paid will remain on your account as a credit ready for you to use up to the end of the 2021 season.  You will receive another email confirming your credit and how to re-book in the next few days.

We realise this is a difficult situation for everyone. If the above option is not a possibility, please email [email protected], and we will try our hardest to honour your request where possible.

Coronavirus, COVID 19 – Direct Debit Instruction

24th March

Please ignore this notice if you do not have a current direct debit schedule running for 2020. We are writing to all guests who have an active instruction still in place between your bank and Tregarton Park.

We would like to double check you are happy to continue with your Direct Debit schedule you have in place towards your planned holiday with us in 2020.  

We have postponed the park opening until 1st May, subject to review. We understand this is a fast moving situation with many “unknowns” as to how and when we will all return to normal.

 

Please consider the following options:

Option 1 – Continue as normal, no action required
If you are happy with the current direct debit schedule and wish to continue as normal you do not need to do anything. Your payments will be collected as planned on 1st of each month. 

 

Option 2 – Stop payments, action required
If you wish to stop payments please email [email protected] co.uk with your name and address as registered on the direct debit schedule. We will then stop the payments.  Your booking will remain in place and your balance will become payable on the due date.  

 

For both options, if the worst occurs and your holiday is affected, we will automatically issue you a credit on to your account for the monies already paid and you will be able to re-book for another date in 2020 or 2021. Please do not contact us to discuss this option now as we are trying to work through all the upcoming holidays in place for April at the moment, thank you.

Coronavirus, COVID 19 – Postponed Opening until 1st May

It is with much sadness that we have made a very arduous decision to postpone the opening of the park this year.

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected us all, and it is likely that it might continue for some time to come. In line with the UK government’s advice about avoiding non-essential travel and the increased risk of spreading the virus we are postponing the opening of the park until Friday 1st May. This, of course, will be subject to a review nearer the time.  Although we have not been told to remain closed, we feel this is the right decision to try and reduce the amount of non-essential travel.  All those with bookings for April have been contacted about how to re-book for another time.

We would like to reassure you that we are monitoring the situation as it develops, and have taken additional measures to ensure the risk of Coronavirus remains low to allow you to enjoy your holiday.  With the country in a situation of “unknown” we feel its best to arrive at a decision whereby you can make some future plans. 

Given the recent government guidance for no ‘non-essential travel’ for the next 30 days we encourage you to follow this and welcome you to postpone your April holiday.

Coronavirus, COVID 19 – A Message of Reassurance

16th March 2020

We would like to inform you that we still plan to open for the season on 1st April and we have extend our season to close Saturday 31st October.  In the meantime we will provide any updates on this page as the situation progresses.

 

We recognise that the situation is worrying but we would like to reassure you that we are monitoring the developing situation and following Government guidance to ensure you can enjoy your stay with us.

 

In addition to enhanced cleaning procedures we have within our main toilet block UV sterilising air purifying systems which operate 24 hours a day.

If you have a booking with us and have any concerns please telephone us and we will be happy to help on 01726 843666.  

 

Whilst staying at Tregarton, we would ask all our guests to take the following sensible Government Advice:

Washing hands regularly. Wash hands for at least 30 seconds and use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser if soap and water is not available. https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/best-way-to-wash-your-hands/

Maintain good hygiene practices such as using tissues when coughing or sneezing and disposing of the tissue in a bin.
