When looking to go camping in Cornwall, the location is key. So, why choose a campsite that’s near to St Austell for your holiday next year?
Located in the south coast of Cornwall near the English Channel, St. Austell was historically known as a centre for the mining of china clay.
Today, it’s most famous for the Eden Project which is located in close proximity. This massive environmental complex consists of several biomes that house a wide variety of plant species from different climate zones. It’s also not far from The Lost Gardens of Heligans, the enchanting restored Victorian garden.
Nearby there’s plenty of beautiful beaches including Porthpean Beach and Charlestown Beach, which are well-loved by swimmers and water sports fans. The historic harbour at Charlestown has been used numerous times as a filming location for period dramas and pirate-themed films. It’s a wonderful example of a working Georgian port.
Tregarton Park is a well-loved campsite based close to St. Austell, Gorran Haven and Mevagissey.
Our exclusive camping park is dog-friendly and ideal for families with young kids. Whether you fancy taking a dive in our heated pool, playing a game of tennis at our courts, enjoying our playground or visiting one of the nearby beaches, there’s never any shortage of things to do.
You can currently book 2024 holidays at 2023 prices, so don’t miss out. We reopen in the spring which is a lovely time to visit the area.
